What kinds of videos do you like to watch on YouTube?
Me: Football, music (Earth to Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber), and tutorial videos.
For so many years, these three have been my go-to content on YouTube.
But things took a creepy turn recently.
As usual, I logged into YouTube to scour for some music videos ‘cus I heard JB had just released a new music video.
After watching a couple of videos, my curiosity got the best of me, and I landed in a completely strange YouTube world.
Did you know there are morbid content on YouTube? I mean, creepy, zombie-like, scream-your-butt-out kind of stuff.
What about bizarre and strange content? Inexplicable skits? Soul-melting stunts? Mind-blowing realities?
My God, I came across dozens of channels doing stuff I never thought anyone could think of.
If you don’t mind, I’d like to share some of these channels with you. So you, too, can knock yourself out.
Trust me; these channels will leave you stunned.
1. Ask A Mortician
Ever wondered what happens to our nails, teeth, and hair when we die? Ever wondered what your funeral would look like? Ever pictured alternative ways to die? Ever wondered what happened to Pearl Harbor’s dead, Titanic’s dead? Do you even know the difference between coffins and caskets?
What about the legendary sleeping beauty corpse of the Capuchin Catacombs – Rosalia Lombardo – what really happened with it?
If these questions have ever nipped at you, you can find answers today on Caitlin Doughty’s mysterious and morbid channel.
She has all the answers to all questions – past and present – so long it’s death-related.
Can you imagine?
My eyes are telling me her channel has 1.5m subscribers. But my blown-away mind is finding that hard to believe.
How would 1.5 million people love this kind of stuff? I’m guessing she used one of those buy YouTube subscribers from Stormviews services people use to grow their channels.
Or maybe Youtubers are that MORBID.
2. Cooking with Dog
If you think you’ve seen it all, wait till you see a dog come to life with amazing recipe guides and cooking instructions.
Cooking with Dog is a YouTube cooking show where a dog named Francis is the host.
Francis is accompanied by a mysterious Japanese chef whose name remains undisclosed.
While “Chef mysterious” does the cooking of various popular Japanese cuisines, Francis calmly sits next to her and narrates the recipes step-by-step in English.
Sometimes Francis is dressed in a bespoke corporate attire to mimic your favorite talk show presenter. And when he talks – in his funny Japanese accent – you can’t help but sit through his sessions.
I was on this page for so long that I missed my breakfast. I even almost missed lunch.
3. Benjamin Bennett
I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen anyone as jobless and weird as Benjamin Bennett in my short life.
Can you guess what this guy does on YouTube?
SITTING AND SMILING! WALKING AND TALKING!!!
Maybe you wanna read that again.
It all started on July 28, 2014, when Ben live-streamed himself sitting and smiling motionless at the camera for roughly four hours at a time.
As of early 2020, Ben had created over 300 episodes of these intriguing contents.
What was he trying to achieve? I wish I know.
All I can tell you is that he was just sitting and smiling for over six years.
Then from late 2020 up until now, Ben decided to show us another side of himself.
The talking side.
Since late 2020, Ben has been live-streaming himself, walking, and talking non-stop for several hours.
I wish I knew where this guy gets his strength from?
4. Nana825763
This is a channel packed with horror shows and fascinating ideas.
After watching a couple of disturbing and fascinating videos, I headed to Google to see what bloggers are saying about Nana825763.
Guess what I found in one of the blogs?
“Nana825763’s videos are not for those with a weak stomach.”
In addition to bloody skits performed with dolls and puppets, there’s also an extensive ant diary of Queen Ant A-chan that’s one part creepy and two parts educational.
Words can’t do much justice to the horrifying creativity of this channel.
Watch at your own risk!
5. Licking Guy
What won’t you find on YouTube?
Maybe President Biden’s dance steps.
But the Licking Guy’s stunts are enough to make up for whatever’s missing.
From the name “the licking guy,” I bet you can get what this guy does with his life.
He goes around towns and cities licking stuff.
Can you imagine that?
So far, he’s licked the YouTube building, the Mexico border wall, AREA 51 – the highly classified United States Air Force facility located within the Nevada Test and Training Range, etc.
While licking the Mexico border, the licking guy had to take to his heels as the border patrol. chased him. At Area 51, he had to keep his head down as warning shots were fired.
All these to lick stuff? Damn! Some people can be bizarre.
6. Dr. Sandra Lee (aka Dr. Pimple Popper)
Dr. Sandra Lee is another shocker you’ll find on YouTube.
While everybody always complains about the pain and disgust of popping pimples, boils, and blackheads, this doc actually takes joy in it.
If the sight of burst pimples disgusts you, move away.
But if you like the sound of it, check Dr. Lee out on YouTube today.
7. How To Basic
This is my favorite bizarre YouTube channel. I love it because it starts with a clickbait.
Disguised as a regular How-To video, this channel storms viewers with tons of scary, bizarre, and sometimes horrifying content.
On the channel page, you may see something like “How to make your girlfriend love you more.”
Then immediately you click on the video, you’ll be greeted by an entirely different video featuring a panting, faceless person breathing heavily into the microphone while breaking things, slapping their own thighs with raw fish, smashing dozens of eggs, and performing all other manners of unspeakable horrors.
I love to use How-to Basic videos to prank my friends, especially on April fools.
All in all, Stormviews type website helping people grow their organic Youtube channel and viewership.
